Hello those who still read my blog.

(ps this is REALLY long... just for warning...)

Sorry it's been dwindling lately. I've been super duper crazy! With school and all my classes, trying to keep up, directing things for school, and also choreographing/directing the musical at Mesa High School! It's been so much fun! I love working with the kids. Yes sometimes they can be a little crazy and a little too much to handle, but over all i love it! It's my job since I'm thinking about it 24/7. I even have stupid dreams about how the levels are going to be and how they need to say a certain line, or act a certain way... I think i was cursed from my mom! Haha i guess you can say it's a great blessing and awesome talent! But i can't run from it. I always think about it :). But it's all good!
Anyway, i wanted to write what classes I'm taking... I know it's already a month or so into the new semester, but you'll get over it.... ok i first started with 22 credits... actually i think there was more but i dropped a class (or two). But once school actually started i had 23 credits! That is way too many for a normal person to have. I was taking:
MWF: 9:00- Intro to exceptional learners (this class taught me how to teach kids with disabilities). 10:00- was rhythm and music for dancers (It teaches dancers the language and music of the musician.... which i already know since I'm both. So it's a fun class) 11:00- Music Comedy (you sing musical theater songs... that's all, so it's not hard) 12:00- Dance perspectives (this is my honors class, and it's probably my hardest, just having to remember everything... it's basically all dancing all around the world... hence "dance perspectives") This is when i go home and eat some food, do some hw, and then at 3 i head to the school (mesa) to teach/choreograph... I'm done at 6 and head home to finish homework, and eat food, and then i relax like a vegetable and let my brain relax from the day :).
TTH: 9:00- Healthful Living (you learn about health... obviously, this one is kinda difficult too just because the subject is so broad...) 10:30-Jazz dance (FAVORITE CLASS) 12:30-private voice 1:30- SRO (it's a musical theater group that's at the college.... it's not that exciting, but for scholarship money i have to take it... so i am.) Then at 3 again i head to the school (mesa) and choreograph! (yay) Oh and i had a computer class that was online, but in reality i didn't have ANY time to sit down and figure out the class. SO i dropped it right away.
So i had all these classes and i was doing really good up until last week, it was impossible for me to do some of the assignments in my intro to exceptional learners class, so i had to drop it... :( i was so sad because that was one class i was really in to! But it's all good i can take it next sem...
OH and i'm taking HIP HOP!!! (on friday nights! haha another favorite!)
Ok so that's my school life, then i have a social life! (i know it's hard to believe! but start believing!) I have been going to a whole bunch of YSA activities with Tori, just because it's no fun being losers so we go to make new friends! Well we have made some, and they are really cute! (obviously they are boys) and they are super fun to hang out with. (and super cute) well... one of them asked me for my number (not saying names) and we've been trying to hang out, but i've been out of town, and crazy busy, but tonight we finally hung out! And it was so much fun!
He called me up and asked me if i wanted to go with him to Barnes and noble, because he had a gift card and needed to go so he could use it up. haha, long story short... we didn't find anything for him to buy, we just walked around making fun of books, talking about different types of books, and just talking about RANDOM things, and he showed me pictures from his mission, since there was this HUGE atlas. It was so much fun! I'm really out of the whole dating aspect of life, so it's fun to get into it, and feel cute and giddy :) Yes i'm super giddy... like a school girl! haha! I thought i would be really nervous, just because i had no idea what to say or how to act or react around him, since we haven't really hung out THAT much, but it was successful and awesome! Anyway, ya about the title... life going great! I'm loving every minute of it! :)

Road trip to..... Tucson?

This weekend i had a competition that i competed in, It's called Classical Nats (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and it was in Tucson the pits of AZ. (seriously) I had a blast though. I prepared 3 classical pieces of music and then sang them for some judges and got feedback... That's how i look at it... Because if i go into it wanting to win and get the money i freak myself out and flub lub... or screw up... 

I Got a ride with one of the girls at school with me. Her name it Halli and she is awesome, she is actually supposed to be in high school but was home schooled so she is at the community college now and she is a kick butt singer! Anywho, i drove down there with her, her mom, and her dad, and we stayed in a little condo! It was awesome! And they were SO kind. They didn't make my chip in, or even pay for my own food! They just kept saying "Oh no, it's our treat... It's on us. You are a great travel buddy!" So i didn't have to spend a penny! Which was a GREAT blessing because i don't have a penny! (seriously!) So we go to Tucson around 6:30 friday night, and my time slot to sing was at 7:30 and Halli's was at 8:30 (we weren't in the same division because she is younger, so we weren't competing against each other) We got to UofA at 7 and i warmed up with my pianist and then went and sang! I had so much fun! and i ran into a bunch of people from high school that i haven't seen in a couple years because they are all going to NAU... That was a treat for sure! Well, than I waited around and talked to them for a little while we waited for it to be Halli's turn... Then she sang. And then around 9:45ish we FINALLY got to eat dinner. (we ate at On The Border). Then went back to the condo and Halli and i were going to get into the Jacuzzi outside, but they closed at 11:00 and that's when we got home, so we missed out..... But.... We had a Jacuzzi tub so we put on our swim suits and put bubbles in there and just relaxed and jammed out to music! :)

Our Feet are black because we forgot to grab our flip flops and out feet were KILLING us from wearing out high heals... So they were NASTY black! haha her mom kept telling us we were going to get a disease! hahha

We kinda overflowed the tub with bubbles!! haha it started to over flow!

Well, Halli made finals and there were 18 people in her division and there were 22 in mine and we didn't have finals... which was kinda scary because that meant that they already knew who was going to get the awards and they didn't have to see anyone again.... And thats a lot of girls and so i hoped that i was one of the top! Well i had to wait until 2:30 to find out who won and it was a long day. I walked around the town a little bit and laughed and talked with old friends. Got a Jamba Juice and that had to hold me over till dinner. Well finals were at 12:00 and there was a master class that we to that went from 1:00-2:15 and and it was about auditioning and what to wear and how to act (and i'm really glad i went, it was a great learning experience). Then it was onto the awards! And the after show! I knew i didn't win because there were a butt load of people that have been actually TRAINING there voices for this, but i was hoping for something atleast! 

Halli's devision was 3rd or 4th to be awarded, and she got 3rd!!! It was so exciting! Then it was my devision! and i got 4th! out of 22 without having finals! That's good! I was so happy! I didn't get money or anything i just got a piece of paper that says honorable mention... haha but still! 

So even though it was a VERY LONG weekend it was well worth the experience! And because Halli placed she got to pick where we were going to eat, and she picked "Olive Garden!" It was more than delicious! Loved it!

SO it was a fun weekend! Hope everyones went as good as mine! :)

 I believe we were dancing and BELTING to hairspray and some old school hip hop mix! It was pretty awesome!

Homework?! NOPE!

So thursday night i went over to Tori's to watch The Office and to study and do homework! It was a hilarious office episode, and then it was time to do homework.... We did awesome for like the first 2 min. Then we didn't want to anymore. 

tori: "Umm... I don't want to do this anymore.... (hiding her face) lets go see a movie"

Me: no hesitation "OKAY!"

Tori: "okay lets look at movie times...oh look there are NO movies out! Freak!"

So we went back and started studying and doing homework again! and again it was only for like 4 min this time...

Tori: "Lets make a music video! I have a whole bunch of crazy clothes!!! OK?"

ME: again no hesitation "OK!!"

SO that's what we did.... we changed clothes and video taped us dancing as ugly as possible to random music!

Now we are in the process of editing it and making it awesome!!! YAHOO!

Ok a figured out what the heck i did and fixed it! So problem solved... sorry for no updates lately i've been kinda crazy busy doing homework and stuff... I'll give an update later!

PLEASE HELP!!

my blog is freaking out! And i have no idea why! I went to just change the background, and the whole thing went ballistic! The original background wont go away! Now it's stuck between two and i can't switch it! PLEASE HELP!
