Meh... Sometimes I'm crafty

My girlfriends and I aka Tori, Darlene, Heather and me decided to get together today and do some crafts. I was really excited because tori texted me while I was at work and said "Do you want to get together and Mod Podge?" and I said "what the heck is that?" and she said "umm... that thing dawn does with the letter's and paper." and I said "Oh heck ya!" 

SO it was set.

After work I set off to Joanns to find something to use that 

may or may not 

eventually be completely ugly.

So I found a couple frames for 2 bucks.

A pack of super cute paper for 10

and the combined them together to create =

TA-DA

A not so ugly "mod podge something or other" picture frame! 

As stupid as it sounds I am so proud of my pathetic silly little picture frame!

It makes me happy and I feel like I was productive and accomplished something exciting today. And I really want to keep practicing so I can get better :} 

ps. I miss California!

Day One: California!!!

Tori, Alyssa, Darlene, and myself all drove to California for a Road trip on sunday around 6ish. We stayed with my fantastic cousin Andrea on the Navy Base There and with her awesome kids. We got in late Sunday and went right to bed. When we finally woke up on Monday we had a fun conversation with Andrea about life and all her fun stories that I sweat she should put into a book because I love hearing about them. Well after we talked for a while she asked us what our plans for the day was and.... we had no clue. So... she suggested Hollywood. haha so that's what we did! :)

1st day: Hollywood

We were walking around Hollywood and decided that we wanted to go to the House of Wax so we did! It was actually worth my mula! :}

Then we left and walked around again

Saw some more "Stars" :]

And went to the mall to eat lunch at Johnny Crappers! I mean Rockets.

The red carpet premiere For Prince of Persia was there and Jake Jillenhall (whatever) was coming and we probably could have seen him, but we were tired, cold, and just didn't give a hoot.
But we totally flirted with one of the security guards! But it didn't get us very far! haha it was still fun though.

After the ridiculous directions to get back to the freeway, and the Horrid traffic we finally made it back to Andrea's where we had a yummy home warmed up "KFC" waiting for us :)
