So yesterday was Valentines day, and like most of you know (or all of you) I don't have a valentine. So I was planning on having a girls "Single awareness night" with a bunch of my girl friends! I was so excited, but i had to wait for it to come. Well, Then around 3 i get a text, and it says, "Hi Michelle! Your phone was off so I'm texting you. Do you want to be my Tennis Valentine?" (side note: This is from the same boy that i went to Barns and Nobel with on Wednesday night. If you don't know what I am talking about than you can read my "Life" post.) I was super excited! So I called tori and she told me that it was totally fine to miss the girls night and to go have fun! (side note: I only asked because we had been planning it for a while and i didn't want to bail out on them.) I warned him, and told him i didn't know how to play tennis and i was REALLY bad. But he was convinced that i was probably better than our doubles date so it was all good! (hahaha... Little did he know how serious i was). So he came to pick me up around 7 and we headed to the courts. We talked about random things and laughed a lot while we waited for the other two to get there. :) We also practiced hitting the ball up against the wall for some practice... I hit a ball over the wall (ALL the way OVER the wall to the parking lot)........ and it wasn't on purpose either! I'm pretty sure I'm REALLY bad at that game! haha but he kept at it and kept teaching me and i started to get the hang of it, when the other two got there.
They warmed up a little and then we tried to play the game. Key word tried... haha there really was no game involved we just served it to each other... And the game has a really weird point system! It's kinda ridiculous. We tried though right, that's what counts! And not only was i just bad, It was SUPER DUPER cold out side so i couldn't hold the racquet or swing my arm fast enough to hit the ball! (again my hand eye coordination is all out!) Well, then we finished that and then got closer and just hit it back and forth rather than playing an actual game and me and the other girl were good at that! (haha) but we could tell that the boys wanted to play a real game so we sat to the side and talked a little and they played. I believe her date beat mine by 2 (but it's all good).
Then we left and went to The California Pizza kitchen! It was really yummy! We decided on the BBQ chicken pizza, I was kinda scared! But it actually turned out really good!
Then we headed to the other guys house (sorry, i know it's confusing but i don't know if any of them would be OK if i use them in my blog so I'm just not going to) to make to smoothies and play some games. (side note: the smoothies weren't too bad but they didn't use ice cream or milk in it.... they used water..... ya it wasn't the best smoothie i've ever had but it wasn't the worst either...) And we played a card game that lasted FOREVER but it was so much fun! I don't remember whet the name of it was, but me and my date were sitting next to each other so we were on opposite teams, and so me and the other guy were on a team, and we kicked there butts!! haha it was hilarious. Anyway!! haha i had a blast on valentines day, and i hope that everyone else did too!!!
