A Day In New York, New York!

Monday was a crazy day! It was like we were real New Yorkers. We took a cab to Penn Station so that we could take the train into New York City because we were staying just outside of the state across the river in New Work, New Jersey...

We got off at Ground Zero and looked at walk at the same time, because mom bought tickets for the Statue Of Liberty the night before and we had to be there at a certain time. We got a little lost finding the port and so we walked along the water to find it. It was Beautiful! When we finally did find it than we went and got our tickets and stood in line for the boat. The line is normally forever long but it wasn't this time! there weren't very many people in the line at all. So we got on the boats quickly and headed off the the Statue of liberty!

Guess what he's trying to do... Yup pick the nose of the Statue of Liberty... But he wasn't high enough... so it just looks like he's poking her........ haha Than it was on to the subways!!! and figuring all that out! It was way fun!

We were basically prose at figuring out the system and everything! We Went to Wall Street, and Cental Park, and lots of other places... We really wanted to go to 116th and Broadway!! (from enchanted) but we didn't get around to it. Yes he is smiling by the butt of the bull!
And they are posing on the butt!!! Oh but funny story, right after this picture a little boy walked right up to the Bull, kicked him in the balls and then walked away like it was a normal daily routine!!! haha it was basically the funniest thing i had seen in a long time.

Then it was off to Central Park which we got ourselves lost in (only becasue we were looking for the bridge that whatshisface falls off of in Enchanted... but they all look the same. So it was really difficult.) Well we walked around inside the park and it was beautiful! We actually walked way to long and far away from the main street so we couldn't find an entrance to any of the subways and our feet were hurting REALLY bad. We were going to go rent two of those guys to ride us where we wanted to go again... but decided we could just walk through the pain.... after what felt like forever we FINALLY found an entrance and went down it... but soon realized we needed to be going the opposite way so we had to get off and walk across the street and go down the other side... our nest destination was china town! We didn't have very much time to spend there because we had to make it to the show... we got tickets earlier in the day to go see Blue Man Group....... but i did successfully find a cute white purse and an I love NY shirt! I never realized how ugly purses had gotten and how HUGE! But i... well actually it was dad that pointed this one out to me, and i loved it and got her to give it to me for 19 rather than 25... ya i know a whole 6 dollars. I tried for more but she was kinda a stickler. Anyways. We hopped back on the subway and made our way to the show! Actually first we had to stop at K-Mart and starbucks because silly mom wanted to see if KMart was the same as in Arizona... It had all the same stuff but it was 2 stories! I think thats cool. Anyway we bought candy and walked the rest of the way to see blue man group!!!!

At first i was a little sceptical... actually a little bumbed because we were in NEW YORK and weren't even seeing a show ON BROADWAY! we were seeing one off broadway... so i was a little bumbed... BUT at the end of the show i was TOTALLY glad that i had stuck around and went to there show. because it was FREAKING AMAZING!!!

and during the show one of the guys does an art thing with his mouth and paint balls... AND guess who now owns it? .......................... WE DO!!!!!! (well jonathan does!) Finally we went back to Time Square for a couple hours walked around alittle bit, and then waited and took a train back to Penn Station.

NEW YORK IS AMAZING!!!

Trip Continued

I didn't' quite finish the all about our trip over the summer. I will just do a quick over view of the last couple things we did... So after we took my nephew to the different amusement parks we came back to my sisters house for more fun!
We came back and took the boys to the zoo, while D had a relaxing day...

The little one was mad at me because he was looking at the monkeys and didn't want to say cheese! haha it was so cute!!

Then we went to Breezy point beach a little later!
He wouldn't smile unless he throw sand at you... so here he is just throwing sad at D! haha

He let us bury him in the sand!!

Next came.... The babies baby blessing. (i can't figure out how to get D's pictures on here so once i get them I'll post 'em)

so after the baby blessing we had to leave straight from there to go to New york. We drove for 3 and a half hours and stopped in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and went to the Liberty bell and across the street is Independence Hall we got a tour and took pictures of where the declaration of Independence was signed! it was cool!

Then we Finally made it to New York, and that night we went to the Empire State Building and to Time Square, and we got to ride in those cool bike things... where the guy rides you where you want to go so you don't have to kill yourself off by walking everywhere... you let them do that! Ü and we were out until about one o'clock in the morning!
