I love me some Television!

I happen to love watching TV especially when I have had a long day! I love just sitting down and watching a little TV.... well for some odd reason all the BEST shows are out right now.... when i'm the busiest!! SO i have to watch them. Even though i should be sleeping! hahaha First is: NCIS
Navy Criminal Investigative Service
Why do I love it do you ask? Well her name is Abby and she is the Lab rat. oh right and then there is DiNoso who is a pain the butt but super fun to look at. And of course you can't forget about Gibbs, the director, Daveid, the director, ducky, and McGee! I love it all!
Castle
He's a writer who tags along with the FBI and helps them solve cases! Super cool!

The Mentalist
I secretly just watch this one because i think he is beautiful! meh and i like the plot!
Community
Funniest show ever! Probably because I'm at a Community College and I meet people that are like them every day!

Lie to Me
This show is so interesting to watch! The main guy in it has a company that he started and they tell if people are lying or not by their facial expressions. It's so cool! I don't think it is actually possible but it sure is interesting to watch!
Bones
I'm not exactly sure why but this is one of my favorites!

House
Got addicted a while back because my dad is in love with this show and I love watching it with Him. It's basically the same every episode. Someone comes in with a problem they misdiagnose like 5 times till the last 10 min when they actually figure it out and then they live! yahoo..... but i'm still hooked even though i know it's going to work out in the end. But some endings totally throw you off! Keeps you engaged.. ok it keeps ME engaged!

Heroes
this one is my least favorite. I'm not really as into it as the other shows or even other seasons. They've run our of ideas and now are just running in circles. But i'm still a devoted follower since day one so i will probably keep watching it till the seasons end.

Well for those of you who were bored enough to read all of that sorry for the rambling... it's a wednesday night I'm done with work and teaching and tori left the state of Arizona and left for colorado! So i'm super bored! haha well I love DVR because now i can go catch up on all my shows i missed on monday since i didn't get a chance to watch them!

Community

This is the best show.... check it out!

LIttle Martha Stewart's & The Masquerade Ball

Last wednesday night me, darlene, heather, tori, and ashley all met at tori's house to make hair flowers! hehe it was a lot of fun to make them even though i am not that crafty or clever. Their flowers turned out so cute! It was a lot of fun to catch up with all of them and tell fun stories and be crafty together!
Love these girls! they are my best friends!
Tori was taking the picture and didn't want to be in it yet because she didn't finish her flower yet... haha i made 3 by the time everyone else made 1 but that's only because mine were not very intricate...... theirs were haha and very cute! Fun night!
-------------- next fun story -----------
Last Friday night me and my dear friends Darlene, Tori, and Ashley (our newest amigo from Washington!) decided we were going to go to this Masquerade Ball we were invited to. We know how lame people are and that most everyone would not take this amazing opportunity to dress in nice fancy dresses and wear amazingly cool masks because it's called a "Masquerade BALL" however we are not lame! we are very cool (well we think so anyway) and decided we were going to go ALL OUT with this freaking awesome shin dig and get all dolled up! SO we borrowed some fantabulous dresses and went to walgreen's (like 5 min before we were leaving for the dance) to buy some masks and then set out to make this party hoppin! Oh but first we met up at Tori's to get ready and take some pretty awesome picta's!

We all went into Tori's living room and stood with pretty smiles on our faces while her madra took a picture.
Then we realized we are not pretty people and needed to take one of our standards.
Then we "modeled"
(side note: we were all supposed to contort our bodies like "pro-models"
however it turned out to be just pose ugly and Tori will do the distorting for all of us :) haha )
Then we had to drive to Ashley's house because she remembered a dress that she had that would match her mask better. It was actually quite amazing how all of our masks matched out dresses almost perfectly! and they were only 5 dollars! What a STEAL!

SO as we awaited her arrival we took our "beautiful" pictures for the night!

(explanation 1 : we were trying to look at the camera with one eye and then cross the other one... haha it looks SO funny and i wasn't even aware that i could do it! funny the things you find out when you are smiling for a camera! haha)
(explanation 2: meh we are just u-g-l-y... jajajajaja)

We got to the party and sot out some of out friends to party with! Cameron is the one with the nice wide open "I ROCK" face and Taylor (my secret love haha) is the one with the gorilla mask on... oh wait... nope he just painted his face black, and he has the "I'm a model" look on he face. Love those boys!
And the one to my right is Daniel! hehe he's super cool, but lame because he didn't even TRY to dress up or bring a dumb mask... lamo. ;)
I do have to say though, our dancing abilities just happened to improve SO much that night. haha all the flailing arms, and over exaggerated body rolls and shimmies, the jerk, stainky leg, walk it out, stank faces and much much more! Oh my favorite part has to include the last 10-20 minutes of the dance... which consisted of me and tori having a "I can dance uglier than you can" contest!
We have this contest at every dance party we go to and it seriously makes the night 10 times better. haha actually i'm almost positive we went to a dance and our objective was to see how many people we could get out on the dance floor if we danced as ugly as possible... And it totally worked. Once people realized no one cares how you dance everyone joins in, haha that's really how a lot of the dance parties we go to start...
1. we come about 20-30 min late...
2. no one is dancing
3. we request a song, or just groove our way in to the one that is playing
4. Bust out the COOLEST moves you have ever seen
5. people see how much fun we are having
6. DANCE PARTAY!!
it's amazing!
and normally darlene is apart of it also, but the night of the masquerade she wasn't feeling very good so she was just the judge this time. We throw in our best moves and sometimes steal each others and add a little FLAVA of our own.... bahahahahahaha the best!
Our night came to a close at Ihop where we ate our little hearts out and yes wore our dresses and masks while we sat and waited "patiently" for our food to come so it could be devoured :)
name this movie anyone:
me: (cough, cough) I'm sick
darlene: Boo, you whore!

This last sunday was amazing! Church was fantastic, I needed to hear so many things and I am so grateful that I was humbled enough to receive the answers I've been looking for and thinking about. I was able to see my friend Amber Kempton for the last time till she get back from Serving the Lord on her mission to Brazil. She is so cute and amazing so darlene and I took a normal and then silly picture so she could remember us :) haha Then I got to watch a movie called "Another Testament Of Jesus Christ" (the new one) it's about the story in 3 nephi when Christ comes to the America's. It's the background information on how they put the movie together. It's a bunch of still shots portraying each situation and it was beautiful as well! My Sunday was just full of spiritual experiences and I am just so very grateful for all of my many blessings and experiences that I have! I love my family and my friends, they are such amazing examples to me!
I'm just so full of thankfulness.

School, Work, Teaching, CDC, Life

It's only 9:30 on a wednesday and I'm not planning on going out on the town tonight so I have decided to update my neglected blog..... because I'm cool like that!

School
I am currently taking 12 credit hours of school right now, which means I am a full time student, however it's not just at one school... I am taking and anatomy class on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and also a Hip Hop class friday nights at Mesa Community College. And then on tuesday and thursdays I am taking 3 dance classes and anatomy for the dance at Scottsdale Community College.

I love it!

I seriously am all over the place ALL the time! But I never get bored I am constantly occupying my time with something exciting to do. I think my favorite days are my dance days. Which means I am dancing not teaching... so tuesdays and thursdays! I am at SCC from 8:20-2 and only the first hour of it am i just sitting and learning. The other 5 hours I am dancing Ballet, then Modern, then Jazz!!! Seriously I couldn't ask for anything better. I am learning so much and growing so much as a dancer! It was the best decision to switch over and go to SCC for dance. And I think most people would be scared off by my next remark but "I'm one of the worst in the classes" call me weird but I absolutely LOVE IT! I have the opportunity to watch and learn from some pretty amazing dancers who have been dancing for a long time! It's amazing!

Work/ Teaching
I'm still working at Pure Fitness Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings, and Tuesday nights. It has been such a blessing being able to have this job! It has worked right into my school and teaching schedules and I am able to make enough to pay bills and still have a little fun.

I am very blessed to have connections to help me further my career choice and to gain experience. My bestest friend Tori was asked to teach some dance classes for someone in her ward and wasn't able to do it so she asked me and... what do ya know... I CAN!! So I have been teaching at a little garage studio. One 3 year old Jazz class (with about 5-6 girls) and a 4 year old Jazz class (with about 5-6 girls) on Wednesdays :) and I am LOVING it. They are so adorable and they say the darndest things! I look forward to wednesdays because I get to teach these super cute girls, it just lifts my week!

I am also teaching at High Ground Dance Studio as their Ballet 1 teacher! Again I didn't get this one on my own. While I was at work one day I got a call and decided to answer (normally i don't obviously because I'm at work) but it was Brianna Barba and she was calling to see if I would be available to teach this class because she was no longer able to. So amazingly enough it did fit, and I had just enough time to fit it in! Seriously amazing things happen when you read your scriptures, say your prayers, and keep the commandments! I know that I would not be this lucky and grateful if I hadn't been.... This one is a little more difficult than the jazz classes one because Ballet is a challenge for me so I have to really learn to master it so I can really teach these girls the right way, and because I have 15 girls in the class and they are all around the age of 6. SO they like to spin, jump, talk, climb, and make friends while not paying attention to me... their ballet teacher... AND to add on to that they have already been dancing for an hour doing technique... personally an hour and forty-five minutes of technique and ballet for 6 year olds is FAR too long! I'm lucky if I keep the attention of half of them and to them ballet is boring so i'm trying to change that! :) SO this class is teaching me patience and being prepared to teach fast, keep it fun, while still learning.... ya I'm still working on it... I'll get it! :)

CDC
CDC stands for Christian Dance Company. It's an amazing Christmas Company that Tricia "Hale" Campbell and a couple other girls started X amount of years ago (sorry i'm not exactly sure of the details) anyway it's a club at mesa high and dancers come and audition to be in this dance company that is only at christmas time, and we perform once at Mesa High and Once at The Mesa Temple. And we tell the story of the Birth, Life, and Death of Jesus Christ. It has seriously been my favorite thing to do since I found out about it! It's another amazing way I am able to show my testimony of Christ! And even though my life has been crazier than ever, I decided that I needed to do it again this year so i fit it into my schedule and am so glad I did. I will post the performance dates when I know so everyone can come. It really is amazing and I am so grateful for the girls who came together and got the courage to start it. So more dancers are able to do it as well! LOVE IT!

Life
If you can't already tell I am more than excited about life! It seriously could not get any better! As much as the whole dating aspect of this age in life is a little weird and sometimes frustrating and retarded I'm learning to deal with it and make the best of it. Thanks to everyone that gave advice it actually REALLY helped! because I have had to let some guys know that we are just friends.. nicely... trying not to hurt their feelings. I don't think I would have been as nice if I didn't have help... because I just get frustrated with guys... haha... that's another story in and of itself. anyhoo... Like I said I love life and can't wait to see what other things are in store for me... more teaching, maybe some performing, maybe a BOYFRIEND! haha. I'm just excited for life! I hope everyone else who is out there or reads my blog remembers to thank Heavenly Father for the little things! Remember to smile and say thank you and you're welcome, I promise life will look so much better and seem so much simpler if you can do those little things!

Whoever finished reading this... haha sorry for the rambling, I just love it, and decided that my family and friends that are far away need to know what's going on in my life too! (ally, deanna)

don't forget...

"You have a face on your window..."

So we got a new printer in my house that hooks up to the big computer and it seems to hate my camera so I have been unable to update anything! And I have had pictures from FOREVER ago! so I am going to go from the most recent to the end. :) and some things aren't even here. haha these are just some of the things.

Wake boarding
This is my new love! I have been hanging out with this new group of guys and they have a boat and are also actual wake boarding teachers. So I've basically gotten free lessons every time we go! hehe it rocks! I have also gotten really good at it. I'm learning how to jump the wake now, so I'll have pictures of that when it happens.... haha most likely it wont be till next summer because of my crazy schedule which i will get to on my next post.
This is the first time I actually got up, so I'm better now!
Yay for tubes also!
AND I HAVE THE BEST FRIENDS EVER!
Cali Road Trip Before School
Tori, Darlene, Erica, and myself jumped in my amazing little red car and drove to california to go to the beach and to Sea World since Darlene had never been before and we needed one last HOOYAH before becoming slaves to school. We had the greatest time ever!

We bought white board markers and wrote messages, drew our boyfriends, and other exciting things all over the windows to see peoples reactions. And at first we didn't get any response but as we got more into the city it was exciting to see peoples faces as we drove by... haha. I think my favorite had to have been when we were driving onto base (because we were staying with my cousin Andrea) and the marine at the gate looked at me and started laughing and said "umm... you have a face on your window." and then I blushed and said "ya... haha We know" I don't even think he looked at my ID he just smiled at me and let me go :) oh the Joys of having 4 attractive girls in the car driving onto a Marine base haha loads of fun flirting with them! :)
Sea World
I didn't take very many pictures with my camera, Darlene and Tori had most of the pictures and I haven't gotten copies of them yet.
After Sea World closed there was a HUGE line of cars to get out of the parking lot.. so what did we do??? Put on Hip hop/ Gangsta music and got our dance on in the parking lot of course!! Best experience ever! hahaha talk about hilarious reactions on old peoples faces. I can just see what they are saying. haha

Beach
Of course we don't take pretty pictures on the beach, only jumping/ugly ones!
aren't we so cute?
Britton's getting Bigger!
I went with Dawn a really long time ago, when Britton was just starting to walk, to a baby store and he didn't want to be put in the cart, he wanted to walk everywhere so the amazing store had these super cool Mini Carts! and he LOVED IT! I said "Britton say Cheese" and he looked at me willingly and gave me the biggest smile! So cute!
Friends FHE Night
Carrie and John Snyder decided to have a friends FHE night. So a bunch of old friends got together and had a lesson, game, and and ate some dessert! It was so much fun to see all my old friends that are all away to school! I miss them and it was so much fun to catch up!

Publish Post
I think thats all for now. I'm so happy that I was able to update! It has been WAY too long! :)

Stick 'em in a blender and push puree

Why hello fellow bloggers. I need a little advice.... I haven't been the most personal person on this little blog of mine it's been more like a simple journal so i can remember what has been goin on in my exciting life... But I'm kinda stuck at the moment and i know there are people that read this that have great advice, even if I don't know who you are, I would like to know what you think because i'm new to this.

The "this" I am referring to is "dating".

I'll give you a little background.
-I dated a guy for two years before he left on his mission... he was my first boyfriend, first kiss, the first guy i said "I love you" to, the first person i would go to with a problem, I was myself around him, and life was great. I didn't think about other guys, I didn't go out on dates (one i guess because i was dating someone, two because guys just don't ask anymore), Well then he left... Kinda on a bad note and it made me realize that he isn't exactly what i want in my future spouse.
My eyes were then opened up to the world of men!!
WHAT THE?!?! SERIOUSLY?!!? How the HECK do people find someone to date let alone someone to marry?!

---you have the creepers, the Jocks, the nerds, The beautiful ones (who I get still nervous talking to haha like i'm in high school again), the brainiacs, the rude/vulgar ones, the old awkward men that talk to anyone and everyone trying to get numbers, the fresh of the Mish, the depressed RM's that think life sucks, the completely confused, and the list goes on and on and ON! and sometimes if you are lucky or not you find some one that fits into more than one category!

Well, by the hand of fate you MIGHT find one of these "men" that you are actually interested in... but then comes the make it or break it situation........ Are they interested in you?!

hhhhmmmm...... how do you know? And how do you give hints that you like them without being completely ridiculous or weird?

I have had the wonderful opportunity to meet a lot of new fun guys these last couple of months. I have decided to go to the singles ward, I go to the firesides, I actually go up and talk to new people, I have been hanging out with a new group each weekend; however, nothing has really come out of this.... guys just don't ask for your number... am I aloud to? hahaha because I would totally grow a pair and walk up to a guy and talk to him and ask him for his number, even if it was just to hang out again, but that could seem super over powering and therefore turn the guy off to any interest right there on the spot... see my dilemma? SO... i'm stuck between a rock and a hard spot on this whole "meeting knew guys" and "dating". Because if it was up to me I would not be sitting at home on the weekend. I would be getting together with random people! Why not? What do we have to lose, seriously?!
----------------------------
My next item to talk about........ How do you KINDLY let guys know that you are not interested? And i don't mean interested in hanging out with them, I mean interested in dating them. I will always say yes to the first date! But then after that I always feel horrible saying no. But in high school it was SOOO different. You could go on as many dates with someone as you wanted and it didn't really mean anything. But now that i'm at the age of dating=marriage it's TOTALLY different....
----------------------------
Ok so i know there are like 2 1/2 people that read my blog but i would really like to know what everyone thinks even if it is someone who i don't know.

So leave comments!! :)
